Employment Trainer – Croydon Reporting into Team Leader An experienced trainer to deliver regulated and non regulated qualifications/training to ESFA and DWP government funded learners or other provisions wherenecessary. The delivery schedule is driven by learner’s geographical locations This role requires travel to all other sites across London and alternative sites that are hired to deliver the qualifications. Due to this, lone working will be required. The role requires an organised professional with the ability to adapt to new environments, needs to be resourceful and able to work in a fast paced environment. Prepare lessons efficiently in order to conduct themcompetently. Deliver and assess accredited and non accredited qualifications according to the delivery schedule. Set and assess learner work product daily, ensuring feedback is provided in a timelymanner. Complete remedial actions to ensure learner achievement performance is included in the givenmonth. Monitor the learners’ progress throughout the course, against thecriteria Create schemes of work and lesson plans in accordance with the qualificationspecifications. Prepare educational material to assist with stretch and challenging thelearning. Abide by the copyright rules and always source material beforephotocopying. Be prepared to deliver and assess a suite of work skills specialist programmes asrequired. Manage the classroom effectively and challenge learners on attendance and punctuality in line with thepolicy. Regularly report back to HQ, the attendance records throughout thecourse. Substitute for other Trainers / Advisors in case of their absence, as mutually agreed with the Team Leader and/orManager. Be involved in observation programme across allprovision. Be involved in standardisationmeetings. Represent Company at all times in a professional manner at all sites and any travel inbetween. Liaise regularly with Advisors’ on learners’ readiness for progression in to employment, provide handover information to new or substitutetrainers. Incorporate technology such as tablets and smart phones into your teaching and use the interactive projector and Smart Notebook when scheduled to teach in a room with suchfacilities. Enforce the tidy desk policy in company classroom, including all sites hired for delivery and be responsible for the equipmentprovided. Record and monitor learners’ attendance and punctuality, report absences no later than the firstbreak. Completion of assessments records per unit by the submission deadlinesprovided. Be responsible for chasing learners for outstanding work product, if passed the submission deadline. Request and manage the float provided for learner travel expenses percourse. Creation of lesson plans and schemes of work and further resources to keep itcurrent. Attend and contribute to staff meetings and developmentmeetings.
