Head of Customer Analytic Products
TUI is undergoing a data analytics transformation, journeying into next generation data science, real-time decisioning and complete customer insights. As Head of Analytic Products you will facilitate the realisation of the business’ analytics strategy by being the interface between the business stakeholders and the technical delivery team on one of our digital transformation programmes. On the business side, they’ll work with senior leaders to understand and mould their vision, operational data scientists to understand their approaches and business analysts to understand fine grain requirements and business processes. On the delivery side they’ll work with our delivery director and solution and data architects to communicate the product vision and tune proposals that are put forward. They’ll work closely with scrum masters and developers to ensure that the delivery remains true to the strategic vision and requirements of the business. What you will be doing Our Head of Analytic Products will facilitate a successful and accurate delivery by providing leadership in: Defining sprint goals Delivering high quality user stories into an agile backlog Building and managing the delivery backlog using Jira Actively contributing to scrum ceremonies Recognising and reporting delivery concerns to business stakeholders Defining and collecting product metrics Delivering presentations and written reports to stakeholders What we are looking for We’re looking for a hands-on Head of Analytic Products to shepherd new analytics capabilities into to our business quickly through an Agile approach. As a motivated self-starter, with a passion for improving the insights our analysts can glean from the richness of our data, they’ll need to be able to communicate complex ideas to others from both technical and non-technical backgrounds. You will know about the contemporary data science landscape, the current tools, the pertinent approaches and some of the likely challenges. In particular they’ll have a thorough understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem and be familiar with Alteryx, Tableau and R.
